It argues historians have been taken in by Allied propaganda, and that it was the Belgians who bore the brunt of Hitler's assaults, and it was the Belgians betrayed by Churchill and France.
It's an interesting argument. Churchill had to explain away Dunkirk and whether you call it "lying" "political rhetoric," "fact twisting" "fact bending" or typical war time "propaganda" he was in a poor position to confess it was Britain that betrayed Belgium and that it was the British military that was unprepared and not willing to take the risks that Belgium had taken. The article also argues Churchill betrayed France, as well as Belgium.
