The answer to this question very much depends on your situation. Just like undergraduate degrees, some schools are more expensive than others. There may also be some opportunities for funding, like being a research assistant or teaching assistant. In general, masters degrees cost less than undergraduate degrees simply because they take less time (1.5-2 years), but they can still be quite expensive!
