Instead of doing the save as, you can just go to your documents folder, find the document that you are looking for, right click it and click on rename.

Offhand, I'm not sure this is doable using only an Excel macro. However, it is possible if you can create VBA code, since you can invoke VBA code from Excel. Here's a couple of links that could suggest some possabilities:
