Today, the terms college and university are often used interchangeably...but traditionally, a university offers post secondary (high school) degrees at the under graduate level (associate, bachelors degrees) as well as graduate level (masters and doctoral degrees). Colleges typically offer (again post secondary) associate and bachelors degrees.
