Non-Probability Sampling refer on the subjective judgement of the researcher when selecting units from the population to be included in the sample. Here are some types:
•Quota Sampling: Aim is to end up with a sample where the strata (groups) being studied (e.g., males vs. femalesstudents) are proportional to the population being studie
•Convenience Sampling: Where the individuals that are selected for inclusion in the sample are the easiest to access.
•Purposive Sampling: Reflects a group of sampling techniques that rely on the judgement of the researcher when it comes to selecting the individuals that are to be studied.
•Self-Selection Sampling: Allow individuals or organizations to choose to take part in research on their own accord.
•Snowball Sampling: Used when some populations that we are interested in studying can be hard-to-reach and/or hidden.
