The main advantage you might see is slightly faster writing to card so that might help. However this type of camera is typically used to take informal pictures and not necessarily for hobbyist or professional photography. The extra cost is probably not worth it. Unless you upgraded to a DSLR and needed the slightly reduced recycle times, I wouldn't recommend it.
