PMP specializing demand / resource management and schedule creation
There is no specific degree requirement to be a PM, most companies want you to have a specific level of education as well as a certain amount of experience. From what I have seen, most companies want at least a BS degree along with a few years experience. There is a certification called a PMP which many companies are looking for. To get a PMP you must have a certain amount of experience either managing or participating in projects. The experience level required for the certification is higher if you do not have a degree vs if you have one. You also have to pass a pretty challenging test to obtain the cert. If you are more software oriented, then there are other certifications that are geared towards Agile methodologies. While I don't know the requirements for all of them, the CSM cert requires a 2 day class and passing a test. Not sure about the educational requirements.
