It will be very difficult to control the quantity of cattle. Physical delivery of cattle is difficult athough, that could be remedied by exchanging certicates of ownership. There will be a large incentive to breed cattle which would be inflationary. A bout of hoof and mouth disease or mad cow disease could radically reduce "the money supply)
