When you publish your book under a new ISBN for IngramSpark, do you want to update an existing one on Amazon?

We are currently selling our Book on Amazon published through Amazon KDP with one of their free ISBNs that can only be used on their platform.

Now we are additionally publishing our book on IngramSpark using our very own, fresh ISBN.

Would you advise to update our existing book offer on Amazon to the new ISBN or keep it running under the old ISBN?

Why would you update it (keep it)? Are you losing existing reviews when updating it?

When you use the ISBN provided by Amazon, it only links to the book published through KDP, which essentially creates a separate product from the book with the ISBN available from IngramSpark. It's recommended that you use the same ISBN on all platforms, so I would update the KDP book with a purchased ISBN.
