The coordinates of the midpoint are found using the formula:
(X1+X2)/2 , (Y1+Y2)/2
So in this case it would be
(-1 + 6)/2 , (-2+12)/2

Use the Midpoint Formula (which is in your textbook):
Midpoint = ((x1+x2)/2, (y1+y2)/2)
where (x1,y1) = (-1,2) and (x2,y2) = (6,12). Plug on the values and compute the answer.
