Percentage of games won

Question

The tigers won 11 games and lost 4.  The cubs won 10 games and lost 3. It was a 15 games season.  The cubs had two games rained out.  Find the percent of games both teams won

Win Percentage = (Games won)/(Total Game Played)

 

Tiger Win Percentage = (11 Games won)/(11 + 4 total games) = 11/15 = 0.733 = 73.3%

 

Cubs Win Percentage = (10 games won)/(10+3 games played) = 10/13 = 0.769 = 76.9%
