In a rectangular garden 30m long and 15m wide, flowers are to be planted. With the boundary inside the garden is 2m wide, find the area of the garden without flowers.

30 m x 15 m = 450 m^2 = area with flowers

2 m wide boundary inside = 28x2 +15x2 = 56+30 = 86 m^2= area without flowers

450 - 86 = 364 m^2 = area with flowers inside
