The second angle of a triangle is 44 degrees more than the first angle and the third angle is 28 degrees less than twice the second angle. Find the measure of all three angles.

second:  X+44 

third: 2(X+44) - 28 = 2x + 88 - 28 = 2x + 60 

 

 

X + X+44 + 2x + 60 = 180

 

4x + 104 = 180

 

4x = 76

 

x=19

A2 = A1 + 44

A3 = 2A2 - 28 = 2(A1 + 44) - 28

A1 + A2 + A3 = 180

A1 + A1 + 44 + 2(A1 +44) - 28 = 180

4A1 = 180 - 104 = 76

A1 = 19

A2 = A1 + 44 = 63

A3 = 2A2 - 28 = 98
