Solve f(t)=0 for f(t)=3t+5

I put five but in my online homework it says incorrect. help !!

If f(t)=0 and f(t)=3t+5, then:

 

3t + 5 = 0

3t = -5

t = -5/3

 

Not quite sure what the question is asking though...
