The theology is already present in what you decide to report or not report and in the meaning you give it. That meaning is not even in secular terms agreed on among most people. The challenge is in NOT reading it with only yourself as the guide. If you are prudish or sinful or someone who tends to be judgmental that is just how you will read it. You need godly commentators and Church guidance. Else you read something like the institution of Eucharist and you take the side you would take anyway. The Bible surprises students greatly in that serious and grave incidents are reported but no 'interpretation' is given. When Dinah's brothers killed her attackers it just reports it.
