Train A moves at 50 mph and train B moves at 60 mph. The trains are heading toward each other at a combined speed of 50+60 = 110 mph.
The total distance to be covered is 330 miles.
Thus the trains will meet in 330 miles / 110 Miles/hr = 3 hr.
Check: In 3 hours train A will travel 3 x 50 = 150 miles and train B will travel 3 x 60 = 180 miles. 150+180 = 330.
