Hi, Jordan. You need the perimeter of 22 and area less than 24.
Perimeter = 2L + 2 W = 22
2(L + W) = 22
L + W = 11
You need 2 numbers that add to 11 and multiply less than 24.
6 x 5 = 30....too big
4 x 7 = 29 ....too big
3 x 8 = 24....still too big
2 x 9 = 18 That'll work.
So, if the rectangle is 2 inches wide and 9 inches long,
the Perimeter is 2(11) = 22
The Area = 2 x 9 = 18 sq. in.
