Math word problem I can't solve

Question

a roller coaster can carry 92 passengers. Some cars carry 4 passengers and others carry 6. There are 2 less 6 passenger cars than 4 passenger cars. How many 4 passenger cars are there?

Let four be the number of 4 passenger cars

 

Let six be the number of 6 passenger cars

 

six = four - 3

 

6 * (four - 3) + 4 * four = 92

 

6*four - 18 + 4*four = 92

 

10*four = 92 + 18

 

 10*four = 110

 

four = 11

 

so there are 11 four seaters and 8 six seaters.
