There is no such thing a the "dorsal region" without further description. This is a poorly worded question, but since the choices are only posterior and anterior, one would say that the patellar region (knee) is anterior to the "dorsal region", only because in the erect human, the dorsal region would refer to the backbone aspect, so the knee would be in front of (anterior) this region.
