x values are 300 and 1,500

Y values are 366 and 510

How do you find the function?

Use the slope equation y=mx+b where m = change in y over change in x = (510-366)/(1500-300) = .12

Plug in m, x and y for one point (for example, x=300 and y = 366)

366= .12 * 300 + b

Solve for b=330

 

Then your function is going to be y=.12x+330 where you take m and b from above.
