The volume of a cylinder is V = pi r2 h (use pi = 3.14)
V = 3.14 x (100 cm)2 x 250 cm
= 3.14 x 10,000 cm2 x 250 cm
= 7,850,000 cm3 = 7,850,000 Liters
Since the tank is half-filled with oil, volume of oil = 7,850,000 Liters / 2 = 3,925,000 Liters
