If a singel-pane of glass with an area of 1.00 square meter and a temperature difference of 1.00 kelvin has a heat loss ao 5.07 watts. then what is the heat loss through a single-pane windaw with an area of 2.50 sqaue meters and a temperature difference of 20 kelvins?

h = k*a*d  These variables multiply each other because they are directly proportional to the heat transfer rate.

 

5.07W = k (1m^2)(1K)

k = 5.07 W/(m^2*K)

 

h = 5.07W/(m^2*K) * 2.5m^2 * 20K

h = 253.5 W
