The fraternal twins, Darlene and Tavis decided to build a tree-house on their grandparents 100 acre property. Their grandparents were the second wealthiest family in the Louisiana area. Their grandparents owned a crayfish plant that had been passed down in their family for over thirty years. Darlene and Travis' grandparents owned one of the two estates on this particular winding road. Off in the distance behind their grandparent's tremendous estate, the twins gathered wood to build their tree-house. The twins began the construction in March; however, realizing how dedicated the twins were in creating a relaxing retreat their parents and grandparents enlisted the help of a well-known construction company. By the time that the month of June arrived, the tree house was habitable. The project turned out even better than the twins anticipated. The tree house was built on an eighty year old oak tree. Due to the massiveness of the tree, the twin's parents and grandparents ensured that the twins would have an East and West wing.

The exterior was painted candy apple red with white shutter windows and a balcony that they could come onto to view the beautiful scenic oceanic view. On the balcony were two long brown colored lounge chairs and a circular table. Within the interior of the tree house Tavis' room was painted blue. It had a typical boyish charm and style with a mural that was drawn on the walls and ceiling of the sky, space, stars, sun, moon and the planets in the solar system, as Tavis has dreams of becoming an astronomer after he attends college. A full-size bed was placed in Tavis' room. The bedding had a similar space-like effect that depicted space with stars and various colored planets. Medium-sized bookshelves were placed in each twin's rooms. The bookshelves were filled with various of genre books that the twins liked to read. Tavis' grandparents had a chocolate brown night table delivered with a rockets hip lamp.

Darlene's room was painted yellow. Her room had a floral Spring theme with a plethora of flowers painted on her walls. Darlene also had a full-sized bed with bedding similar to her bedroom wall Spring theme. Outside of her window was a customized gardening area that housed her colorful potted plants that would require watering every other day. Their cat Norene even had his own cat house within their tree house. Darlene's room was also equipped with a small baby pink leather with lots of yellow, white, pink and lime green furry pillows. The twins had a 45 " inch flat screen television in both of their rooms and a remote control that controlled not only their televisions, but their lighting as well.

On the day of the unveiling of the new construction, Tavis and Darlene's parents and grandparents drove them to the newly built structure. On the count of three when their parents instructed them to open their eyes, the teens were elated to see their newly constructed tree-house. They were amazed by the vibrant exterior color of the tree house, and the interior decorations and ambiance did not disappoint. They and Norene immediately ran up the wrought iron spiraling staircase to each respective freshly white painted oblong glass doors to their private units. Tavis' room sat on the West Wing and Darlene's room was situated on the East Wing. The twin's parents and grandparents could not stop chuckling at the children's surprised reactions to their rooms. Their grandparents could stop thinking that Darlene and Tavis will enjoy their chic tree house for years to come as they were in junior high school.
