For a BCC atomic radius (r) = √3 d /4 where d = edge lenth
edge length(d)= 287 pm
(r) = √3 (287)/4 ..... by solving this
atomic radius of Iron = 124.271 pm

√3 comes from the solution of Pythagorean Theorem that is applied to a unit cell with bcc arrangement.
