When the chef turned the new freezer on, the temperature on the internal thermometer was 2 °C.

After breakfast had been served, the temperature had gone down by 15 °C.

What was the new temperature?

Answer 1

T_i = initial temperature = 2°C

ΔT = temperature change = -15°C

T_f = final temperature = ?

 

ΔT = T_f - T_i ⇒

 

T_f = T_i + ΔT = 2°C - 15°C = -13°C
