Pythagorean Theorem confusion?

A Pythagorean Theorem question i had for homework. I understand and can do Pythagorean Theorem but when I draw out this word problem, my hypotenuse is smaller than the leg and i know that's not right. Am I missing something simple or is this question flawed?

"From his home, Travis would have to walk due north to get to his friend Vince's house and due east to get to his friend Bryan's house. It is 4 miles from Travis's house to Bryan's house and a straight-line distance of 6 miles from Vince's house to Bryan's house. How far is Travis's house from Vince's house? If necessary, round to the nearest tenth."
