Theater sells tickets fir a concert. lower level tickets sell for $35 each upper level $25 each . 350 tickets sold for $10,250 how many tickets of each type are sold

Use substitution method:

y = 350 - x

10x = 1,500

x = 150

 

y = 350 - 150

y = 200
