You did not identify the ratio of a sides as that of square A to square B, specifically.
If that is the meaning of the given 3:5 ratio, then the area of square A is (3/5)2 of that of square B. (And of course, the area of square B is 15 by 15 sq units)
But it appears to me that the question ought to have been asking for the area of square A--otherwise what is the puyrpose of the mention of ratios>

and yes the ratio of side lengths from square A to Square B is 3:5
