Which quote from the passage supports the claim that Homer was born in what is now Turkey?

The Greek poet Homer is credited with writing The Iliad and The Odyssey, two epic poems that are among the oldest works of Western literature. These poems are thought to have been written down sometime around the eighth century B.C.E. They have had a significant influence on Western culture, but we know very little about their author. We don’t even know if Homer actually existed! The only clues to this great author are in the poems themselves. People have spent centuries analyzing the poems for clues to Homer’s life.
Homer is thought to have been born sometime between 1200 and 750 B.C.E. At that time there was no calendar, so the exact year is unknown. We also don’t know where he was born. Seven different cities in Greece claim to be Homer’s birthplace. The language in the poems suggests Homer might have been from Asia Minor, which at that time was part of Greece and today is part of Turkey
