Express the density

Question

Anna, Anh and Amir are each given a sample of an unknown polymer and asked to calculate the density of their sample to determine if it could be polyaniline. They find a published value for the density of polyaniline to be 1.33 g cm-3.

Anna measures the mass of her sample to be 55.4 ± 0.2 g and the volume of her sample to be 41.9 ± 0.3 cm3.

Express the density of Anna's sample in kilograms per cubic metre, to 3 significant figures.

Use the computer format ("e-notation") for scientific notation e.g. the value 0.00015 should be entered as 1.5e-4
