A rhombus is a special kind of parallelogram, in which all four sides are equal. A square is a rhombus; not all rhombuses are squares, however. Your geometry book will have a nice tabulation of the properties of special quadrilaterals. For example, the diagonals of any rhombus bisect one another & they're perpendicular.
