12 x= 36

Jsscia will get 5x = 5(3 )= £15
Jorden will get 7x =7(3) = £21

At a ratio of 5 to 7, it takes 12 for each child to get one.   36/12 = 3 so Jessica gets 5*3 = 15 and Jordan gets 7 * 3 = 21.
