Heather is twice as old as armida while kaye is 35 years younger than heather. If 1/2 the age of armida 5 years ago, and 1/3 of the age of heather 10 years from now, is twice the age of Kaye, how old is Kaye?

H=2A, K=H-35

(A-5)/2 + (H+10)/3 = 2K

(H/2 -5)/2 + (H+10)/3 = 2(H-35)

H/4 -5/2 + H/3 + 10/3 = 2H- 70

2H -H/4 -H/3 = 70 +10/3 - 5/2

17H/12 = 70 +5/6 = 425/6

H = (12/17)(425/6) = 850/17 = 50 years old for Heather

K= 50-35 = 15 years old for Kay

A=50/2 = 25 years old for Amanda

(25-5)/2 + (50+10)/3= 2(15)

10+20 =30
