Hi Sosha,
Lets look at a similar example. If you wanted to buy a shirt for $10 but your dad only gave you half of the money. How much did your dad give you? Obviously, you'd know that your dad gave you $5. Why do we know this? It is because half of 10 or 10*(1/2) is 5.
In your case with the loan, You would multiply 3085 by 6/5. Please let me know if this makes sense. :)
