your spare time playing pool and ice skating must not exceed 20 hours a week. your weekly allowance is $80. you pay $3 an hour playing pool and $5 an hour for ice skating. write the inequalities that represent the situation

     S = number of hrs skating (hr)

 

Basis: 1 week

 

1) P + S ≤ 20

 

2) $3*P + $5*S ≤ $80

S < 16 (or S can equal 16 if P = 0)
