The distance that you wish to calculate should be the Circumference of a circle having radius  6.5 ft.

 

DO NOT USE 3 for pi -- that's the worst recommendation I have ever seen.  Very accurate values of pi are provided built-in to most calculators.  Pi is about 3.14159265.
