Question

Marty agrees to work for two hours a day, five days a week; he gets paid $2.00 an hour; he agrees to do 20 hours of work. At $2.00 an hour, how much money will he earn each day, and how many weeks will he have to work to earn $40.00?

Answer 1

$2/hr x 2hr/day = $4/day

 

$4/day x 5days/wk = $20/week

 

$40 ÷ $20/week = 2weeks
