Let b = cost of black tea

 

h = b + 1

4h + 2b = 25

 

Substitute b+1 in place of h in 2nd equation

 

4(b+1) + 2b = 25

4b + 4 + 2b = 25

6b + 4 = 25

 

Finish solving for b to find cost of a box of black tea.

Then add $1 to that to find cost of a box of herbal tea
