Use the Pythagorean Theorem to find the length of the hypotenuse of the right triangle formed by:

    (0,0) to (-15,0)

    (-15,0) to (-15,36)

 

c² = a² + b²

 

   c² = (-15)² + (36)²

   c² = 1521

   c = 39
