If the directions say to round to the nearest hundreth (2 decimal places) then yes. 0.53 is the correct answer 

 

But I would check your work.

The answer is the RECIPROCAL of the one you are showing.

 

 

3 miles = 3 x 5280 feet/per mile = 15840 feet

I hour = 60 minutes

 

So 3 mph is the ratio  15840 feet/60 minutes

 

15840 feet                  500 feet

--------------  = ----------------- , so  X =  1.893939393939... = 1.8939 = 1 minute and 54 seconds

 60 minutes            X min

 

 

Using only conversion factors

                      1 mile             1 hour              60 min

500 feet x ---------------- x ---------------- x ------------
