If a guy works 5 days a week. Has 9 days off a year and 2 weeks of vacation. How many days a year does he work total?

This was a test question I recently took and I didn't know how to go about it. I know some of the options were 200 and something.

Let's think first about how many days this guy is suppose to work and then we will subtract out all of his vacation time.

 

He works 5 days a week and there are 52 weeks in a year so: 5*52=260

 

Now let's subtract out his 9 days off: 260-9=251

 

Next he has two weeks of vacation which is 10 days (not 14 since he only works 5 days a week): 251-10=241.

 

Therefore this guy works 241 days out of the year.
