Let's think first about how many days this guy is suppose to work and then we will subtract out all of his vacation time.
He works 5 days a week and there are 52 weeks in a year so: 5*52=260
Now let's subtract out his 9 days off: 260-9=251
Next he has two weeks of vacation which is 10 days (not 14 since he only works 5 days a week): 251-10=241.
Therefore this guy works 241 days out of the year.
