Chris Johnson ran the 40 yard dash in 4.24 seconds. If Chris kept up this speed at a constant rate, how many yards would he run in an hour?

There are many errors in your explanation. There are 3600 seconds in an hour so it should be 3600 divided by 4.24. If it were to be 60 divided by 4.24 then you would find how many seconds are in a minute.  Also, we don't know the number of laps Chris ran.

I stand corrected. thank you!
3600 ÷ 4.24 = 849.0566038
This is the number of laps Chris runs. (Highly improbable)
That amounts to 33,962.26415 yards. (40)(849.0566038)
