The question is geared towards marketing strategy rather than statistics.
However, from a statistical standpoint, finding the average competitor's
pricing is one place to start.
Measuring sales before and after the ad will show it's effectiveness.
A third option is to poll public opinion about this particular product, and
perhaps find out what features are popular among competitors' brands.
Not sure what else is in your module, but that should be enough
to get you started.
