I have to do a writing project choosing a theorem and i chose the mean value theorem for derivatives, these are the three questions help me with  question b! 
a) state the conditions necessary to implement the theorem you chose.

b) explain why the theorem cannot be used unless the appropriate conditions are in place.

c) find a calculus problem that utilizes the theorem you chose. Solve and explain your problem.

But YOU must read, understand, and write.
