im really struggling. The question reads “How much 60% acid solution must be added to 20 ml of 30% solution to achieve a 50% acid solution?”

can you please help me?

x = ml of 60% acid that you need

 

(0.60)x + (0.30)(20 ml) = (0.50)(x + 20 ml)

 

0.6x + 0.3(20) = 0.5(x + 20)
