im really struggling. The question reads “How much 60% acid solution must be added to 20 ml of 30% solution to achieve a 50% acid solution?”
Can you help?

60X + 30(20) = 50(Y)

X+20 = Y

60X +600 = 50(X+20)

60X +600 = 50X + 1000

10X = 400

X = 40 ml must be added to get 50% solution
