Help with this math question that I dont understand

Question

A chocolate chip cookie recipe ask for one and one third times as much flour as chocolate chips. If three and one half cups of flour is used, what quantity of chocolate chips would then be needed, according to the recipe?

required: 3.5 c of flour

required: 1 1/3 times as much flour as as choc chips.

 

flour = (4/3)choc chips

3.5 = (4/3)x

x = ¾(3.5)
