1. The density of copper is 0.386 grams per milliliter. Find the density of copper in grams per cubic centimeter. 2. The speed of light is 300,000,000 meters p

The question statement is incorrect. The density of copper is 8.94 g/cm³ not 0.386 g/cm³ (a cm³, a cc, and a ml all being roughly the same value)

Water has a specific gravity of 1, a density of 1 g/cm³. Copper is more dense than water, with a specific gravity (relative density) of 8.96 according to Wikipedia. This means a 0.2% difference between the two definitions.

Actually, 1 cubic cm is equal to 1 ml.  So 0.386 g/ml is the same as 0.386 g/cm3.  I think Kenneth just misread the question.
