1/2, 1, and 2 are not zeros and the polynomial is cubic, not quadratic.
2x^3 + 2x^2 - 3x + 2 = 0 is what you have given.
-2 is a solution, as 2(-8) + 2(4) - 3(-2) + 2 = 0
Using synthetic division:
-2 | 2 2 -3 2
-4 4 -2
-----------------------------
2 -2 1 0
2x^2 - 2x + 1 is the resulting quadratic.
By quadratic formula:
x = [2 +or- sqrt( (-2)^2 - 4(2)(1) )] / 4
= [ 2 +or- sqrt( 4 - 8) ] / 4
= 2 +or- sqrt(-4) ] / 4
= [2 +or- 2i ]/4
= [ 1 +or- i ]/2
