Hi Kyleigh:
We have x pounds of $2 chocolate
and 18.9-x pounds of $8.30 chocolate
The total is 18.9 pounds of $4.30 chocolate
2x + 8.3(18.9-x) = 18.9(4.3)
Solving for x gives the amount of $2 per pound chocolate.
Then 18.9-x will give the amount of $4.30 per pound chocolate.
